Meaning "Father's Beer" in Dutch, Patersbier is typically what the Monks drink as they are brewing your triples and quads (so they dont fall in the kettles). It's also synonymous with "single" and is a friendly introduction to the Belgian style,  thus the handshake. How do you do?
